Adjust the Print Alignment on an ATR480 Follow
Adjust the print alignment to ensure your Acroprint ATR480 Totalizing Time Recorder prints exactly where you want it. This article explains walks through how to fine-tune the vertical (up or down) or horizontal (left or right) print position.
Note:
- Settings 10 thru 12 only appear after holding down the 3rd and 4th keys simultaneously while under Mode: ES00.
Button Functions
The 1-6 keys on top of the clock serve as function keys in programming mode. The functions are printed on the card door above the column numbers. To enter programming mode, move the black set switch found below the #1 button from Run to Prog.

To adjust the print alignment on the ATR480:
- Open the front cover using the key.
- Move the black Set switch found under the function keys from Run to Prog (to the right) to enter programming mode.
- Press button 3 (Enter) to enter Mode ES00 (Time & Date Settings). Cycle through modes by pressing button 6 (Mode).
- Press button 3 (Enter) until you reach Code 10 (Vertical Alignment). The code is located on the lower left of the screen. If you do not see Code 10, press and hold button 3 and button 4 down simultaneously.
- Press button 1 (+) or 2 (-) to increase or decrease the vertical positioning of the print setting.
- Values above '05' shift the print up.
- Values below '05' shift the print down.
- Press button 3 (Enter) to confirm the selection. The device will move to Code 11 (Horizontal Alignment).
- Press button 1 (+) or 2 (-) to increase or decrease the horizontal positioning of the print setting.
- Values above '05' shift the print to the left.
- Values below '05' shift the print to the right.
- Press Enter to confirm the selection. The device will move to Code 12 (Card Side Identification).
- If you are done, move the Set switch from Prog to Run (to the left) and replace the cover.
