Replace the Ink Ribbon on an M150 Time Recorder Follow
Replacing the ink ribbon on the Acroprint M150 Time Recorder involves removing the cover to remove and replace the spent ribbon. To order a new ribbon, follow this link. When ordering, please specify the correct part number based on your print and color preference:
- 20-106-000 for two-color left-margin print
- 20-106-002 for two-color right-margin print
- 20-0106-003 for solid blue.

To replace the ink ribbon:
- Unplug the time recorder and remove the cover.
- Note how the ribbon is threaded.
- Pull the right ribbon tension spring (under the right corner of the clock face) forward and remove the spool.
- Pull the left ribbon tension spring (under the left corner of the clock face) forward and remove the spool.
- Remove and discard the ribbon.
- Insert the new right ribbon spool with the "hex" hole fitted to the "hex" shaft on the right ribbon feed ratchet.
- Thread the ribbon, as noted in step 2.
- Insert the new left ribbon spool with the "hex" hole fitted to the "hex" shaft on the left ribbon feed ratchet.
- Turn the right ribbon spool counter-clockwise to remove the excess slack in the ribbon.
- Replace the case cover, plug in the clock, and punch a card to verify the correct result.
