What to Do if the Face Time and Punched Times Do Not Match Follow
If the print time does not match the time on the face of the clock on your M150 or M125 Time Recorder, you will first need to make the printed time match the clock face, then you will need to correct the time on the clock face. Make sure the clock is unplugged whenever advancing the time.
To correct a mismatched clock face and print time:
- Wait for the clock to advance to the next minute; once you hear the click, unplug the timeclock.
- Press the Minute Lever (behind the #9 in the clock face) to advance the top of the next hour (12:00, 1:00, 2:00 etc.).
- Advance the printed time using the Hour Lever (front lever on right of the clock) to the correct time.
- The hour level changes the printed time without changing the time on the clock face.
- You can subtract the time difference from 24 to know how many times to pull the hour lever.
- For example, if the printed time is 2 hours ahead of the clock face, you would pull the hour lever 22 times. If there's a 4 hour difference you would pull the hour lever 20 times.
- Plug the clock in to punch and check the printed time
- If the time does not match, wait for the next minute to advance, unplug and repeat steps 3 and 4 until the printed time matches the clock face.
- Once the time is synchronized, use the Minute Lever (behind the #9 in the clock face) to advance to the current time. If the the clock's current time is ahead of the correct time, you can leave the device unplugged until it matches.
- After adjusting the time, the date may be incorrect. Adjust the date as needed using the back lever on right of the clock.
