Configure Pay Period Overtime in ProPunch Follow
Pay period overtime refers to additional compensation granted for hours worked beyond the standard work hours within a specified pay period. In this section, overtime hours are calculated in a larger time frame than daily, weekly, or nth day.
Notes:
- Overtime calculations are configured by administrators.
To configure pay period overtime, follow these steps:
- Log in to the ProPunch application with an administrator profile.
- Click on Company Setup >> Pay Calculations >> Overtime.
- Click Pay Period Overtime and then click Edit.
- Pay Period Overtime Hours
- In the Time Over section, choose between ‘In a Pay Period’ or ‘Sum of Hours per Day (Mon-Fri) in a Pay Period’
- Enter the number of hours In a Pay Period.
- Enter the number of hours for the Sum of Hours per Day in a Pay Period.
- Click on Allocate to Pay Category and make your selection.
- What Counts Towards Overtime Hours: Make a selection.
- Paid Lunch
- Paid Break
- All Work Codes
- All Pay Categories, Except Time Offs
- Select Work Codes
- Select Pay Categories
- Click Save.
