E-30 Error on the ES700 Time Recorder

The E-30 Error on the ES700 indicates an issue with the print function. This can occur if the ribbon is not seated correctly or the sensor is dirty. To resolve the issue, begin by removing the ribbon and re-inserting it, ensuring it is installed correctly. Then press the push bar to test. 

If that does not resolve the issue: clean the sensor. Open the front of the clock as if you were replacing the ribbon. Using a can of compressed air, blow into the top of the clock where you insert the time card. 

If the problem continues, there may be an issue with the printer motor or the home position sensor. Please contact us for support.
