Although this product has been discontinued, we have retained this documentation for your reference. Content is retained for reference purposes only and may no longer be applicable. Feel free to explore our other available products at Acroprint.com.
Prior versions of the ES900 receive the NIST WWVB Signal which automatically sets the time and date. For more information about the WWVB Radio Signal (Atomic Signal), visit NIST's website by clicking here.
If your device has the attached atomic antenna, you can use the following information to set the device to automatically receive the atomic signal.
The Daylight Saving Time (DST) setting defaults to AUTOMATIC. If you are in the EST Time Zone and observe DST, the Atomic Synchronization should work automatically after the AC cord has been plugged into the AC outlet overnight. If you do not observe DST, refer to our article on enabling and disabling DST.
To automatically receive the atomic signal on the ES900:
- Plug the device into the AC outlet overnight.
- If the Atomic Clock Symbol indicator is on in the morning, your clock is receiving the atomic clock signal and the time and date should be set properly.
- If you did not receive the atomic signal, try repositioning the clock or set the unit manually, beginning with the Time Zone. Refer to our article on adjusting the time zone.
