Approve or Reject ProPunch Timesheets Follow
In ProPunch, Administrators and Supervisors with permissions have the ability to approve and reject timesheets.
Notes:
- Approving the timesheet early will prevent new punches from being posted to the timesheet.
- Administrators can configure supervisors to have the ability to modify timesheets.
- After a timesheet is approved, supervisors will not longer be able to make edits. To allow a non-administrator to edit an approved timesheet, the timesheet must first be rejected.
To approve timesheets, follow these steps:
- Log in to the ProPunch application with an administrator profile.
- Go to My Employees >> Manage Time and navigate to the correct pay period.
- Click the Open Timesheet icon next to the name of the employee whose timesheet is to be approved.
- You can approve multiple employee timesheets at once by checking the box next to each employee in the left display pane or select all employees by checking the box located in the header of the employee list.
- Click the Approve Timesheets icon on the timesheet or on the bottom menu.
- After approval, the Timesheet Status on the timesheet(s) will change to Approved by and the first and last name of the user who approved the timesheet, along with the date and time of approval.
To reject timesheets, follow these steps:
- Log in to the ProPunch application with an administrator profile.
- Go to My Employees >> Manage Time and navigate to the correct pay period.
- Click the Open Timesheet icon next to the name of the employee whose timesheet is to be rejected.
- You can reject multiple employee timesheets at once by checking the box next to each employee in the left display pane or select all employees by checking the box located in the header of the employee list.
