How can I backup and restore my ProPunch database? Follow
The following guide explains the steps that customers can take to back up their account in case a database restore becomes necessary. By following the instructions outlined below, you can ensure you have a secure and up-to-date backup of your account data.

- Backup your database frequently to avoid potential total account data loss.
To backup your ProPunch database, follow these steps:
- Open the ProPunch Server Dashboard on the desktop of the PC where the software is installed.
- Click Backup Now to create a database backup.
- The Success prompt will appear providing you with the location of the database. Press OK to accept.
- Click Display Backups to verify that your database is there.
To restore from an existing backup, follow these steps:
- Open the ProPunch Server Dashboard on the desktop of the PC where the software is installed.
- Click Yes if prompted to allow this application to make changes to your computer.
- On the dashboard, click Restore From Backup.
- A Warning message will appear informing you that all application data that was saved after the creation of the backup to be restored will be lost. Click OK if you wish to continue.
- A selection window will open displaying the contents of the folder specified in the Backup Location field on the dashboard. If the backup is located elsewhere, you can navigate to that location to select the backup.
- Select the backup and click Open.
- A second Warning message will appear informing you that all application data that was saved after the creation of the backup to be restored will be lost. Click OK if you wish to continue.
- The restore is complete when the Success message appears. Click OK to close.
