Why can't I see the punches in the ProPunch software? Follow
This guide will help you troubleshoot and resolve the problem when your FC 100 Clock shows a red status, indicating it is offline and not communicating with the software.
Notes:
- Need Administrative access to the software.
- The FC 100 Clock was previously working with the software and now has a red status.
To troubleshoot your FC 100 Clock not communicating with the software, follow these steps:
- Ensure ProPunch Dashboard is online. Check that your ProPunch Dashboard is online and the ProPunch Server is running.
- Click Open ProPunch button.
- Login as the Administrator. Enter the Administrator’s username and password. Click Login.
- Check Time Clock Status:
- Locate the main menu and go to Company Setup >> choose Time Clocks.
- Verify that the Status of the FC 100 Clock is "red," indicating it is not functioning properly.
- Locate the ProPunch Server IP:
- Look in the address window of the web browser to locate the ProPunch Server IP. Make note of the IP.
- Go to the FC 100 Clock:
- Press Menu >> Set Com >> Server Setting >> and select Server IP.
- Make sure that the ServerIP on the clock matches the ProPunch Server IP from the pc.
- Check Time Clock Status to see if it changed to green.
- Go back to the main menu and navigate to Company Setup >> choose Time Clocks.
- Check the status of the FC 100 Clock.
- Verify if the status has changed to “green,” indicating the clock is now functioning properly and connected to the software.
- Lastly, if everything appears to be setup correctly then check the firewall and/or antivirus to see if it’s causing an issue. You may have to temporarily turn it off. <link for firewall communications>
