ProPunch Installation and Activation Wizard

To begin using ProPunch, you will need to install the software and complete the activation wizard. The ProPunch Setup Questionnaire will help you gather the information you will need to setup your ProPunch software.

To install ProPunch, follow these steps:

1. Insert the installation USB you received and select Open folder to view files in the AutoPlay window.
2. Double-click ProPunch_Setup.exe and click Yes if prompted to allow this application to make changes to your computer.
   
   
   
   
3. Click Next on the Welcome window and then enter your Install Key. Your Install Key can be found on the insert included with your installation USB.
   
   
   
   
4. Read the License Agreement. If you accept it, select I accept the agreement and click Next.
   
   
   
   
5. On the Select Start Menu Folder window, ProPunch is auto-filled. You can also click Browse to select a different folder. Click Next to proceed.
   
   
   
   
6. If you would like the installer to add a ProPunch shortcut to the desktop, check Create a desktop icon. Click Next to proceed.
7. Click Install to begin the installation.
   
   
   
   
8. When the Completing the ProPunch Setup Wizard window appears, select Yes and then click Finish to restart the computer.
   
   
   
   
9. After the computer restarts, open the ProPunch Dashboard by double-clicking the desktop icon. The dashboard can also be opened from All Programs under the computer’s Start menu. Click Yes if prompted to allow this application to make changes to your computer. The ProPunch Server dashboard will open.
10. On the ProPunch Dashboard, click Search For Updates to check for application updates. If your current installation is not up to date, you will be prompted to download and install the
    latest version. Click Yes to proceed. The ProPunch Server will be stopped automatically while the updates are being downloaded and installed and then restarted automatically when complete.
    
    
    
    
11. Click Open ProPunch to launch the application user interface. The default web browser will open and display Step 1 of the Activation Wizard.
    
    
    
    

To complete the activation wizard, follow these steps:

1. Enter your company information. All fields are required. Once completed, click Continue to proceed.
   
   
   
   
2. Confirm your company information. If any changes are needed, click Back; otherwise, click Continue to proceed with activation.
   
   
   
   
3. Verify your activation status. If activation is successful, your license term and date of expiration will appear. Click Continue to proceed.
   • If activation is unsuccessful, you must contact ProPunch Support for further assistance.
     
     
     
     
4. Create the first ProPunch Administrator. All fields are required. The password must be a minimum of six characters.
   • Make note of the Username and Password. These values will be needed when logging into the application for the first time.
     
     
     
     
5. Click Submit to save. After submitting, you will then be taken to the Login page where you will need to complete the Company Setup Checklist.
