Create a Custom URL for Your ProPunch Dashboard Follow

Creating a personalized URL simplifies the recall of the link needed to access the software. This article delves into the process of generating a tailored link for reaching your ProPunch software.
Notes:
- The following steps must be completed on the pc/server where the ProPunch server is installed.
To configure the custom URL, follow these steps:
- Open a command prompt window by pressing the Windows key on your keyboard, typing cmd, then pressing Enter.
- Type ipconfig and press Enter.
- Locate the IPv4 Address (in the image above IPv4 Address is 192.168.1.52). This value will be used when adding a DNS host record.
- In your DNS server interface, locate the domain that will be used to access the ProPunch Server. For this example, the atrc.com domain will be used.

- With the domain selected, add a new Host record.
- Type the Name you want to use to access the ProPunch server along with the IPv4 Address of the ProPunch server.
- In this example, the name is propunch.atrc.com and the IP address is 192.168.1.52.
- In this example, the name is propunch.atrc.com and the IP address is 192.168.1.52.
- Click Add Host.
