Configure Daylight Savings Time (DST) on Your ATR120r Time Recorder Follow

If your region observes Daylight Savings Time (DST), use the steps below to program the Acroprint ATR120r Electronic Time Recorder to automatically adjust on the programmed dates.

 

Button Functions

The In-Out buttons on top of the clock serve as function keys in programming mode. The functions are printed on the card door above the column numbers. To enter programming mode, move the switch found on the back of the clock from Run to Prgm.

Button Function Purpose
IN1 + Press IN1 to increase the set value by 1.
OUT1 - Press OUT1 to decrease the set value by 1.
IN2 Enter Press IN2 to confirm the set value.
OUT2 Back Press OUT2 to go to the previous setting.
IN3 Clear Press IN3 to cancel the set value.
OUT3 Mode Press OUT3 to move to the next menu.

 

 

To set daylight Savings Time (DST) on the ATR120r:

  1. Move the Set switch on the back of the case from Run to Prgm to enter programming mode.
  2. Press OUT3 (Mode) twice to enter Mode b001 (Pay Period Settings). Cycle through modes by pressing button OUT3 (Mode).
  3. Press IN2 (Enter) until you reach Code 04 (DST Start Month and Day). The Start Month will begin to flash.
  4. Press IN1 (+) or OUT2 (-) to select the DST Start Month. The standard month in the USA for DST start is 3 - March.
  5. Press In2 (Enter) to confirm the selection. The Start Day will begin to flash.
  6. Press IN1 (+) or OUT2 (-) to select the DST Start Day. The standard date in the USA for DST start is the second Sunday in March.
  7. Press In2 (Enter) to confirm the selection. The day corresponding to the date will show at the top of the display.
  8. Press In2 (Enter) to edit programming code 05 (DST Start Hour and Minute). The Start Hour will begin to flash.
  9. Press IN1 (+) or OUT2 (-) to select the DST Start Hour. The standard time in the USA is 2:00 AM.
  10. Press In2 (Enter) to confirm the selection. The Start Minute will begin to flash.
  11. Press IN1 (+) or OUT2 (-) to select the DST Start Minute.
  12. Press In2 (Enter) to confirm the selection. The device will move to programming code 06 (DST End Month and Date).
  13. Press IN2 (Enter) to edit Code 06 (DST End Month and Day). The End Month will begin to flash.
  14. Press IN1 (+) or OUT2 (-) to select the DST End Month. The standard month in the USA for DST end is 11 - November.
  15. Press In2 (Enter) to confirm the selection. The End Day will begin to flash.
  16. Press IN1 (+) or OUT2 (-) to select the DST End Day. The standard date in the USA for DST end is the first Sunday in November.
  17. Press In2 (Enter) to confirm the selection. Once the End Date is set the day corresponding to the date will show at the top of the display.
  18. The device will move to programming code 07 (DST End Hour and Minute). 
  19. Press In2 (Enter) to confirm the selection. The End Hour will begin to flash.
  20. Press IN1 (+) or OUT2 (-) to select the DST End Hour. The standard time in the USA is 2:00 AM.
  21. Press In2 (Enter) to confirm the selection. The End Minute will begin to flash.
  22. Press IN1 (+) or OUT2 (-) to select the DST End Minute.
  23. Press In2 (Enter) to confirm the selection. 
  24. If you are done, move the Set switch from Prgm to Run.
