Setting the Pay Period on Your ATR120r Time Recorder Follow

The Acroprint ATR120r allows you to set a pay period that aligns with your payroll schedule. Choose from one of the three available options:
- Monthly: Runs from the 1st to the end of the month.
- Weekly: Runs from Monday to Sunday
- Bi-Weekly: Starts every other Monday.
Use the steps in the correct section below to configure your preferred pay period.
Button Functions
The In-Out buttons on top of the clock serve as function keys in programming mode. The functions are printed on the card door above the column numbers. To enter programming mode, move the switch found on the back of the clock from Run to Prgm.

IN1 | + | Press IN1 to increase the set value by 1. |
OUT1 | - | Press OUT1 to decrease the set value by 1. |
IN2 | Enter | Press IN2 to confirm the set value. |
OUT2 | Back | Press OUT2 to go to the previous setting. |
IN3 | Clear | Press IN3 to cancel the set value. |
OUT3 | Mode | Press OUT3 to move to the next menu. |
Monthly Pay Period
A monthly pay period on the ATR120r goes automatically runs from the 1st to the last day of the month. After selecting the option for a monthly pay period (1), the Monthly Pay Period End Day (31) will flash on the screen. This is the correct setting for the device and should not be changed.
To set a monthly pay period on the ATR120r:
- Move the Set switch on the back of the case from Run to Prgm to enter programming mode.
- Press OUT3 (Mode) twice to enter Mode b001 (Pay Period Settings). Cycle through modes by pressing button OUT3 (Mode).
- Press IN2 (Enter) to enter Code 01 (Pay Period). The Pay Period Type will begin to flash.
- Press IN1 (+) or OUT2 (-) to change the Pay Period Type to 1 (Monthly).
- Press In2 (Enter) twice to confirm the selection. The device will move to programming code 02 (Day of Week Print Format).
- If you are done, move the Set switch from Prgm to Run.
Weekly Pay Period
A weekly pay period on the ATR120r runs from Monday to Sunday. You will need to set the current day of the week during setup.
For example: if today is Monday, select 1 to indicate Monday.
To set a weekly pay period on the ATR120r:
- Move the Set switch on the back of the case from Run to Prgm to enter programming mode.
- Press OUT3 (Mode) twice to enter Mode b001 (Pay Period Settings). Cycle through modes by pressing button OUT3 (Mode).
- Press IN2 (Enter) to enter Code 01 (Pay Period). The Pay Period Type will begin to flash.
- Press IN1 (+) or OUT2 (-) to change the Pay Period Type to 2 (Weekly).
- Press In2 (Enter) to confirm the selection. The Current Day of the Week will begin to flash.
- Press IN1 (+) or OUT2 (-) to select the current day of the week.
- Monday
- Tuesday
- Wednesday
- Thursday
- Friday
- Saturday
- Sun
- Press In2 (Enter) to confirm the selection. The device will move to programming code 02 (Day of Week Print Format).
- If you are done, move the Set switch from Prgm to Run.
Bi-Weekly Pay Period
A bi-weekly pay period starts every other Monday, and runs from Monday to Sunday the following week. You will need to set which day in the current pay period it is during setup.
For example: if today is the second Tuesday of the pay period, select 9 for Tuesday of the second week.
To set a bi-weekly pay period on the ATR120r:
- Move the Set switch on the back of the case from Run to Prgm to enter programming mode.
- Press OUT3 (Mode) twice to enter Mode b001 (Pay Period Settings). Cycle through modes by pressing button OUT3 (Mode).
- Press IN2 (Enter) to enter Code 01 (Pay Period). The Pay Period Type will begin to flash.
- Press IN1 (+) or OUT2 (-) to change the Pay Period Type to 3 (Bi-Monthly).
- Press In2 (Enter) to confirm the selection. The Current Day of the Week will begin to flash.
- Press IN1 (+) or OUT2 (-) to select the current day of the week.
- Monday of the 1st week
- Tuesday of the 1st week
- Wednesday of the 1st week
- Thursday of the 1st week
- Friday of the 1st week
- Saturday of the 1st week
- Sunday of the 1st week
- Monday of the 2nd week
- Tuesday of the 2nd week

- Press In2 (Enter) to confirm the selection. The device will move to programming code 02 (Day of Week Print Format).
