Set Alarms on an ATR480 Follow
Set up to 24 alarms on your Acroprint ATR480 Totalizing Time Recorder, customizing the time, days, and speaker type for each alarm to suit your scheduling needs and keep your business on track.
Button Functions
The 1-6 keys on top of the clock serve as function keys in programming mode. The functions are printed on the card door above the column numbers. To enter programming mode, move the black set switch found below the #1 button from Run to Prog.

To set alarms on the ATR480:
- Open the front cover using the key.
- Move the black Set switch found under the function keys from Run to Prog (to the right) to enter programming mode.
- Press button 6 (Mode) once to navigate to ES02 (Alarm Settings).
- The device should be on Code 00 (Alarm Duration). The code is located on the lower left of the screen. Cycle through codes by pressing button 3 (Enter) button.
- Press button 1 (+) or 2 (-) to increase or decrease the duration of the alarm.
- Press button 3 (Enter) to confirm the selection. The device will move to Code 01 (Alarm Schedule).
- There are four settings to be set for each code. Once all four have been confirmed, the code will increase by one and the next set can be confirmed.
- Press button 1 (+) or 2 (-) to set the hour of day for the alarm.
- Press button 3 (Enter) to confirm the selection.
- Press button 1 (+) or 2 (-) to set the minute for the alarm.
- Press button 3 (Enter) to confirm the selection.
- Press button 1 (+) or 2 (-) to navigate between the days displayed on the top of the screen.
- Press button 4 (Back) to exclude or include the day in the schedule set.
- Press button 3 (Enter) to confirm the selection.
- Press button 1 (+) or 2 (-) to select the alarm output method.
- 01: Use external and internal speakers.
- 02: Use only external speakers.
- 03: Use only internal speakers.
- Press button 3 (Enter) to confirm the selection. The device will move to the next code.
- Repeat steps 7-15 until all alarms are set.
- After setting all alarms, press button 6 (Mode). The device will move to Mode ES03 (Column Shift Settings).
- If you are done, move the Set switch from Prog to Run (to the left) and replace the cover.
