TimeQPlus V4 Cannot connect to the timeQplus server

In this article you will learn how to resolve the server connection issue.  The error will occur when the software is unable to connect to the timeqplus server service. 

Cannot connect to the timeQplus server.  

Resolution:

DNS SERVER USERS INSTRUCTIONS: (Use when the TimeQPlus Server is located on the Network Server)

1. Open Windows Control Panel >> Administrative Tools >> Services
2. Locate DNS Server. Right click it to select stop.
3. Locate SQL Server (ACROPRINT). Right click it to select start.
4. Locate TimeQPlus Server. Right click it to select start.
5. Locate DNS Server. Right click it to select start.
6. Once the Services are running close the window.
7. Run TimeQPlus Software

Starting TimeQPlus Server and/or SQL Server (Acroprint) Services: (Use when the TimeQPlus Server is located on a Workstation)

1. Open Windows Control Panel >> Administrative Tools >> Services 
2. Locate SQL Server (Acroprint). Right Click and select start
3. Locate TimeQPlus Server. Right Click and select start. 
4. Once the Services are running close the window.
5. Run TimeQPlus Software.
